Woodland Watercolor Scene

I'm very excited to share this because it represents a series of firsts for me. This was my first time trying to watercolor a scene (as opposed to backgrounds or stamped images), this was my first time using gouache (for the leaves), and this was also my first time watercoloring while following along with a YouTube tutorial (thank you to The Frugal Crafter)!

I found the whole process so fun and informative. As with any medium, the more you do the more comfortable you are with it so I definitely want to learn more!

Because He Lives I Can Face Tomorrow

In the face of a sudden family loss, I struggled to make a Sympathy card. I just couldn't find any creative inspiration. This Washi tape from Altenew had just the watercolor look I wanted and I chose a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps that spoke to my heart. My faith is my only comfort today.

You Mean The World To Me

I miss you all! I inked a stencil background to highlight the globe and emphasize the sentiment.
